Zee Bangla celebrates a year with an unique amalgamation of culture and modernity through #AgomoniAradhana!

As Bengal prepares for welcoming ‘#Maa’ and gears up for its biggest festival – #ZeeBangla rises above adversities and presents to the viewers a festive entertainment extravaganza to connect with the people and create lasting impressions. The festival provides the perfect platform for Zee Bangla as a brand, to be able to reach out to the audience and strike conversations with them.

Culturally the show aims to connect with the audience on the eve of Mahalaya – a night that is ritualistically known as nishi japon – where the people stay up all right and tune into radio or TV to listen or watch Mahalaya. The concept of the program is derived from the age-old family tradition of Bengalis, “Nishipalon” which have been organizing by the family members on the last night of ‘Pitripaksha’. Eventually, this last night of pitripaksha is the prelude to the day of Mohalaya, that marks the beginning of Devi Paksha and the end of the PitriPaksha. Bengalis used to celebrate it with much fervor, festive autumn weather and the ‘pujo-pujo‘ feel.

The program, ‘Agomoni Aradhana’ is a musical celebration, with the presence of celebrity performers of Bengal, belongs to two different generations through a bouquet of more than 40 songs, consisting of Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Agomoni, classical, Bangla modern & Band songs. An ensemble of popular singers – Jayati Chakraborty, Raghob Chatterjee, Sahoj Ma, Madhubanti Bagchi, Durnibar, Aditi Munshi, Neeharika ( 1st Runner up SRGMP), Arkadeep ( Winner SRGMP), Anushka ( 2nd Runner up, SRGMP). Along with them, popular YouTuber, and Singer Rishi Panda, will also grace the stage.

Thus, ‘Agomoni Aradhana’ is going to capture the mood of the celebrated night, with the duration of 4 hours, through a bunch of Bangla cultural performances. This a graceful youth adda will be hosted by the popular celebrities – Srima and Anik and the fun quotient will be nurtured by the famous Influencer Youtuber ‘Wonder Munna’.

Hence, ‘Agomoni Aradhana’ is a rejuvenated, deep rooted Pre-Puja event of Bengali culture.
