Zee Talkies to air 10 films from the past 10 years in the next 10 days
While you are set to enjoy the monsoons this July, Zee Talkies is set to walk you down memory lane with the telecast of 10 blockbuster movies from the past decade. With the consumption pattern shifting towards the old classics, the movie channel brings back iconic films from the past decade. Introducing a new property, ‘Dashakatle Daha July Madhe Paha’, the property will air on weekdays starting 6th July till 17th July at 6pm.
Making a comeback on Zee Talkies is the family drama and tragic film Natsamrat – which stars Nana Patekar in the leading role. The film depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor who has retired from acting but is unable to forget his fond memories of theatre and the stage and will air on 6th July. Following it, is the 2016 superhit film Sairat which narrated the love story of Parshya and Aarchi and the price they pay for love. Kaksparsh is a periodic drama film that stars Sachin Khedekar, Priya Bapat, Medha Manjrekar, Savita Malpekar and Ketaki Mategaonkar. The movie was critically acclaimed and will air on 8th July.
Rampaat will air on 9th July. The movie follows the lives of two youngsters, Mithun and Munni, who come to Mumbai to fulfill their dreams of becoming actors. Mulshi Pattern is the next movie to air on 10th July. The movie is a 2018 Marathi crime drama film starring Om Bhutkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mohan Joshi, Upendra Limaye and Pravin Tarde. Naal is a 2018 film that revolves around Chaitanya, an 8-year-old mischievous boy who lives with his family in a remote village in Maharashtra. The movie will air on 13th July.
Lai Bhaari is a 2014 action drama film, which ran for more than 100 days in the theatres in Maharastra. The movie marked the debut of Riteish Deshmukh in Marathi cinema, while Salman Khan and Genelia D’Souza also make cameo appearances and it will air on 14th July. Nashibvaan is a 2019 Marathi drama movie starring Bhalchandra (popularly known as Bhau) Kadam, Neha Joshi, Mitalee Jagtap Varadkar and Atul Aaglave. The movie follows the life of Baban, a municipal sweeper, struggles to make ends meet but one day lady luck smiles on him and he finds a huge stash of cash and will air on 15th July. Deool Band is a 2015 film that marked the directorial debut of Pravin Vitthal Tarde and Pranit Kulkarni. The movie is a story of a scientist who does not believe in god and will air on 16th July. The last movie of this property, Elizabeth Ekadashi which revolves around young siblings Dnyanesh and Mukta and ‘Elizabeth’, a bicycle gifted by his father. This movie will air on 17th July.
