Zeenat Aman tells Arunita Kanjilal, ‘You look like a Bollywood heroine’!

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #IndianIdolSeason12 has graced their stage with multiple stars but this time, the one to join the stage is none other than the legendary actress #ZeenatAman. Her style, her grace and her beauty have been the talk of the town then and even today. All the talented singers of the show will be seen singing the ultimate hits of her time as a tribute to her. Contestant #ArunitaKanjilal will be singing her most romantic hits ‘Do Lafzon Ki hai’ and ‘Panna ki Tamanna’. Her song woos everyone but what sets apart for Zeenat Aman is Arunita’s beauty and how she carries herself in the Indian attire.

Zeenat Aman says, “I am in awe of your singing but one thing I would love to compliment you on, is the way you carry yourself in these attires. You look like a Bollywood heroine” She further adds, “I have always watched you in Indian wear, I would love to see you in a different avatar for once.”

The episode then takes a turn when Zeenat Ji asks her to get a makeover upon which Arunita changes her entire look amidst the episode and is seen dawning a beautiful red gown. Everyone is awestruck seeing her in this elegant piece as no one has ever seen her wearing an outfit like this before. Following the reaction to her makeover Arunita is asked to narrate one of Zeenat Ji’s famous dialogue from the movie Don, ‘Yeh ladki jungle Billi ki Tarah hai, khoobsurat bhi aur khatarnaak bhi aur Mujhe junglee biliyan bahaut pasand hai’, and to put the cherry on the cake Zeenat Aman repeats her dialogue in the same action and the stage bursts into applause.

Further adding to this Arunita said, “I am overwhelmed and speechless right now. I feel so special today and I am loving this makeover. I will always be thankful to the show for giving me such an opportunity. Deeply touched by these positive words of encouragement”.
