”Zollywood” bags Special Jury Award at a Film Festival in France
Trishant Ingle hails from Vidharbha, Maharashtra and is a noted person from a special genre of drama. He is debuting film direction with ‘Zollywood’. The film has been honored with a Special Jury Award at the Indian Festival of Toulouse in France. “Zollywood” is produced by Wishberry Films’ Priyanka Agarwal, Anshulika Dubey, Shashwat Singh and produced by Dukes Farming Films and Amit Masurkar. Amit Masurkar, who has directed quality films like Newton, Sulemani Kida, is the creative producer of this film.
The film’s director Trishant Ingle himself has acted as a child actor in Zadipatti plays. The rest of Maharashtra does not have much information about the popular Zadipatti plays in Vidarbha. However, Zadipatti theater is a very special art form, in fact Zadipatti is an industry. This is the first time a film is being made on this genre. Trishanth reached Mumbai at the age of 16 with the intention of pursuing a career in films. Since then, he has directed his first film in the form of “Zollywood” with experience in writing and casting.
Trishanth expressed happiness over the award. ‘Zollywood is my first film. So the joy of receiving the award for the first film is special. The bush is a subject close to my heart. I am satisfied that we were able to do justice to this issue through the film. The film will be screened after the corona infection subsides and the situation returns to normal, ‘said Trishant.
