Riteish
Deshmukh
My comedy
has different
arcs
He’s handsome, he’s talented, he’s good looking, he’s witty
and he hails from a powerful political family. He is Riteish
Deshmukh. He debuted with Tuze Meri Kasam in 2003 with
Genelia (now his wife) and after putting in more than one and
a half decades in the film industry he’s getting meatier roles.
Known for his witty ‘one-liners’, comedy comes easily to him
and that could be the reason that he has been part of comic
franchises like Housefull, Masti, Kya Kool Hai Hum, Dhamaal
etc. Now he has joined a new franchise Baaghi. He is portraying
an emotional and weakling elder brother to Tiger Shroff, who
protects his elder brother like a mother. Riteish, apart from
Hindi films, made his debut as a film producer with the Marathi
film Balak Palak directed by Ravi Jadhav. In fact he played lead
in Ravi Jadfhav’s hindi film Banjo. He made his acting debut in
Marathi cinema with an action film Lai Bhaari which is one of
the highest grossers as far as marathi cinema is considered.
