                                                                             Any particular kind of films, you want
                                                                             to do ?
                                                                             I want to do every kind of role and all
                                                                            genres of films. Since childhood, I have
                                                                            been a film buff and enjoy ‘masala’ films.
                                                                            I  would  love  to  do  that  too.  I  want  to
                                                                            portray characters which are real which’ll
                                                                            give me an opportunity to perform. I have
                                                                           always  admired  Madhuri  mam  (Dixit-
                                                                           Nene) and aim to be versatile like her. I like
                                                                           to give 100% in whatever in am reprising.
                                                                           The future of those characters or films are
                                                                           left to destiny.

                                                                          You shared screen with Tiger, Shraddha,
                                                                          Riteish.....were you nervous ?
                                                                          Shraddha and I know each other for quite
                                                                          some  time.  I  and  Riteish  are  Marathi,
                                                                          Shraddha is half marathi but speaks chaste
                                                                         marathi and Tiger, though he doesn’t speak,
                                                                         understand it very well. So we had a blast
                                                                         cracking jokes in marathi on the sets. It helped
                                                                         in bonding. Talking about nervousness, yes,
                                                                         I was little nervous. ‘Thoda darr lag raha tha’.
                                                                         All of them are so experienced as compared
                                                                        to  me  as  I  have  just  begun  my  Bollywood
                                                                        journey.  But  they  all  were,  including  Ahmed
                                                                        (Director) sir, very welcoming and warm. And
                                                                        I think because I was nervous I could perform
                                                                        well. Over-confidence kills !


                                                                       Are you game for older-woman characters ?
                                                                       I never had any qualms to play older woman
                                                                       roles. I played similar character in my serial, and
                                                                       that was quite some time ago. If the character
                                                                       is strong I am game for such characters. I am
                                                                      an actor and if I am unable to perform (older-
                                                                      woman  character),  I  won’t  consider  myself  an
                                                                      actor. (Smiling) And tell me, I look like a heroine,
                                                                      isn’t it ? ‘Dikhti hu na?’ I want to be a performer
                                                                      now.
